Title: Doh! Doh! Doh!
Post by: Sir Tigger KC on 19 May 2014, 10:14:29
A good section of my Mum's garden fence was rotten and covered in ivy, so as next door are away for a few days, I thought it would be a good opportunity to fix it up.  ::)  So I spent yesterday afternoon ripping off the ivy and pulling the panels out.  :y

I've just phoned around for prices on the new panels only to discover that there is a national shortage of fence panels and no one has any, and won't for about 5 or 6 weeks!!  :o  :(

So I guess my day will be spent repairing and bodging up the old ones!  ::)  Luckily I didn't totally destroy them when I pulled them out and the fence is the concrete post type where you slide the panels in.  ;)  So today's lesson is check you can get the new bits before removing the old ones!  ::)  ;D

Well it seemed like a good idea at the time!!  ;D  Doh!!  :P
