.........yesterday about 5 PM where the M69 joins the M6.
Anyone on here?
The owner didn't seem particularly interested in another Omega, so I'm guessing that he is not a member here at OOF.

I met a guy the other day with an 03 plate immaculate 3.2 mv6 said to him what a lovely motor and that most of us on here would love such a motor and how scarce the are becoming.
He wasn't interested in the slightest, he even said that he was thinking about getting rid of it soon.
I asked for him to take my number but refused to. Some people just are unaware of what they've got car wise :'(

I reckon he knew exactly what he had. An eleven year old car worth about £1200.

It's a lot of car for about £1200, admittedly. But.....people don't want to 'love' their cars any more. They want to get in and go, with reasonable fuel economy and the minimum of maintenance.
It would be a great car for an enthusiast, not so much for your average Joe.

I think that you have to be 'into' cars to do what we and other make owners do, to most drivers it,s just a means to
get from A to B sadly. Still, each to their own.

Bikers all wave to each other or nod no matter what make of bike you have , well sometimes the hogs get ignored ::) Ive had one or two Omegas flash headlights but mostly like you say , the car is just a to b transport and nothing to cherish and look after properly ...
or fall out with the other half because you want another ::)

, well sometimes the hogs get ignored ::)
I find that. Hardly ever get nod from a Harley!

Fixed. :)
But even on the BMW, always get the nod 99% of the time, the 1% being Harleys ???

I was right along side him but he showed no interest whatsoever. :-\
To some people a car is simply a car. :-\
