Title: paper clip codes

Done a paper clip test to day after eml light came on and went off and got this code.

16   Knock Signal Circuit 1

What does it mean.

Probably sensor wire caught in alternator or aux belt.

Is it a bit sluggish, esp about 1500rpm?

Clear it, see if it comes back. If it doesn't, don't worry about it.
