Heating is fine for those that can afford such decadent luxury. :'( :'(

Agreed. The last thing you want is for your 'piss bag' to freeze. :)

Indeed - wood burner on last night :y

First time in around 9 days had to put the boiler on for 1hr for hot water. Hot weather topped up the boiler nicely with free heating 8)
Not had the heating on for around a month ;D

Question.
I bought this house with a Rayburn that heated the house, heated the water, and could be used for cooking but never was. It was NEVER cleaned or serviced so in a hell of a mess, thick and blocked with tar and gunge. A large wood burner replacement has been suggested. Are they any good ?

You have more than one jumper? I wish I had, I don't even have one.
That's because jumpers are for 'old folk'. I have hoodies and sweatshirts. :P

Ahhhhh, Esta needs a hug.
No hugs needed down here I hasten to add. In the tropical south, and our tropical storm last night.

Lucky that we had a mild winter, so you have some of your OAP's winter fuel allowance left.
Who would of guessed that you come from Done Thieving Liverpool and have loads of horizontally striped black and white hoodies. :P ;D ;D ;D

That is just silly, if the thing is on you might as well put a kettle on it and something in the oven, even if you use an additional cooker for the more serious stuff........put a slow roast in the oven and taste the result for yourself........... :y :y
