Title: MID Display not 100% after Radio Change
Post by: Anthony in Madrid on 28 May 2014, 17:58:21
Hi Guys  :y
Need a question answered...
I've just changed the radio and (FRONT) speakers to a Kenwood and Pioneer speakers on my 95 2.5 V6 and the MID Display works but doesnt show what the function is at the top of the display. Like "RADIO" "PHONE" etc.  ???
Is this normal?
If not...Is it fixable?

Thanks in advance
Cheers
Anthony  :y

Need to find out if your radio can support the display, search for display adaptors.

Something like this...

http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/car_radio_adaptors.aspx?id=285#15 (http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/car_radio_adaptors.aspx?id=285#15)

What type of display do you have?

Some Aftermarket stereos have a kit to output info, but dont do it by default.

I get full telephone, radio stattion details, and track details from my pioneer (few years old now)
along with integration with the steering wheel controls.
