Hi all,
I'm about to embark on a mission. About 6 months ago in a moment of madness I volunteered to take part in my work's team on this year's London to Brighton cycle ride which takes place tomorrow. I'm really not looking forward to it as I've only had the bike out of the garage once this year so far. Oh dear do I regret putting it off until now.
It is to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. I know this is both very late in the day and a little bit cheeky, but I'd really appreciate it if anyone wants to sponsor me.
If you do feel inclined to sponsor me a small amount it would be massively appreciated; you can either just respond on here with an amount, PM me with details or even visit my online page supplied by the BHF

If not, just wish me luck. :y

Good luck mate, when I drag my sorry arse out of bed I'll find my CC
I used to do the Bradford to Bridlington ride when I was living up north, though these days I would be looking to get from Bedroom to bathroom on a bike with out a heart attack

What's a CC?
Anyone else? :-[

Good luck, mate.Hope the weather stays good for you.At present it is sunny with a cool wind.
If the cycle route takes in Ditchling Beacon,I suggest you walk the bike up it.Knee killer of a hill. After the Beacon it is flat, then down hill to the Lewes Road and flat all the way to the seafront

Exactly.
Sounds a bit dodgy doesn't it?
Going to Brighton and coming back with a sore arse ;D
It was a damn good day. I must say I was really impressed and filled with admiration: There was a real mix of abilities, but I say one guy riding a recumbent that had no use of his legs so had to pedal the whole way using his arms. He had no option to walk up that last hill.
Then I saw another guy on a normal race bike go past me up a hill and he only had one leg. He must have been clipped into the pedal and strapped to the saddle, bloody amazing and very, very, very admirable.
I was in awe of some of the efforts made, really opened my eyes.

Been a pain in the butt matey, tried more or less every hour last night till 2am and in the end it told me it was my card that was faulty, just come in today, changed nothing in theway of details, straight in.
Better late than never, and truly well done matey. You did more than I could ever manage. :y :y :y
