Title: 3.2 fit 3.0
Post by: omega3000 on 04 June 2014, 13:00:55
Are 3.2 headers bigger than the ones on the 3.0 and will they fit on the 3.0 ?
Any significant increase in performance  :-\

I think DLK put some 2.6 heads onto a 2.5 block IIRC, think it worked ok :-\

They bolt on with a bit of fettling to the downpipes, and blanking the EGR.
3.2 Gaskets are required.

Makes a noticeable improvement above 3000rpm; the engine revs more freely.

I did mine as part of a head gasket replacement, I don't know if I'd bother if the manifolds didn't already have to come off.

A worthwhile mod. You have to bin the egr system and air pump, and modify the downpipes by 5mm(angle grinder) :) and nice new gaskets, with some sealent(mmmm) :y

Yeah sorry about that man  ;D So if some headers manifolds crop up would be worth the while fitting them  :y Do/able on the car then  :-\
