Second hand ones are what, 13 years old? Chances are any you find are going to be knackered, and they don't like being disturbed/transported. One of mine broke up after I removed and refitted it
And new ones, which don't have those issues are £70 each. Well used, second hand exhaust parts are rarely worth the effort, even if they're free.

Agree with Nick, both of my 3.2's have just been done with new 3.0 Ltr cats but with the more expensive approved type, just thought the same, cats are of a unknown age and also with the heatshields probably rotting off,a no brainer really :y

Called CES few weeks back out of curiosity on how much new CAT sections would cost for both sides... Around £500  :o

Reason i need 2 is because i had fitted a stainless system to it from the cats back... I had a "Y" shaped section fitted from the cats and a single straight through piece all the way back... I hate the sound its now giving and want to reinstate it as it was... Trouble is the garage that did the work cut the ends off the cats to fit..... I should have left it alone.. >:(

Can someone please help out with the request....

I was walking across the local retail car park and saw an omega with the most rediculous exhaust ive ever seen poking out from underneath.  Who should get out but Vauxsull! Ohh how I laughed.

He REALLY needs these!

Yes.. What James says. I had to apologise to neighbour for the sound it makes at 4.30 am.... Ratttles your fillings out with the " drone" inside car. It is by far and away and without the shadow of doubt the worse thing I have ever dome on any car..

I don't agree with the second hand statements above, the cats will still be fine if they have not been bottomed out or exposed to a poor running engine.

And remember, 2.5 or 3.0 cats will fit.  :y
