Being a tractor with a VP44, I really don't want to run out.
-
If the light is on, I would probably pop some fuel in ::)

Do ya feel lucky punk? Well do ya... ;D
What's the worst that could happen ::)
-
Go for it :y
That may mean 2.9 miles :-X
-
Not going to ask why your not going to bp garage, maybe because of silverstone lol, nice evening for you and mrs tb to pop over tescos with a petrol can ;D ;D
-
Go for it Jaime - if its accurate you've only got 0.8 mile to walk - remember to take a can :y
-
Its downhill, and you'll drive it more economically than you have been when those figures where calculated.
.....won't you? :-\ ;D

Had to hand prime the truck the other day after a filter change. Primer is right next to a bracket so you skin your knuckles as you do it. >:(
-
I wouldnt even worry about it....
Ive never known a range comp to change to 0 miles and promptly run out
Manu's know peeps will let the range goto 0 before looking for a garage...
You've probably got 15-20 miles left yet :y

If it was a petrol or self bleeding diesel, I wouldn't bat an eyelid. Its just these crap VP44 pumps, if you run out, its a tow to get it bled somewhere.
I know my Bullet did 18 miles more once it hit 0 miles on range, and still only took 73l. TB1 ran out before it hit 0 range. They are variable it seems.

73 litres is about the most I have managed to squeeze into an Omega tank :-X

I did read on the tinternet that Zafira's with the VP44 pumps will start eventually after loads of cranking.....or even one bloke reckoned he had jacked up the rear of his Zafira, pressurized the fuel tank with an air line, cranked it , and it started..... :-\
But i suppose the real answer is to pop to tesco or wherever in your Omega and fill a fuel container up for the Zafira......chuck that in it....then take the Zafira to the garage :y
-
Tb, if it makes you feel any better, I've just got 76 litres in an 80 litre tank ::)
-
Just waiting for the race to start, so that there won't be *any* race traffic :)
-
Only got just over 55l in it. No idea how much its supposed to hold.

According to Vx website, new Zafira's hold 58L, so assuming same size.....you had loads left in it ::) ;D

Stacks left then :y (as you say, assuming the same)

Trouble is, I suspect the tank is a rather large and flat affair in a Zafira so despite what you think might be left in it, one slope in the wrong direction and yer
'dangle berries'ed wishing you'd just topped it up with a jerry can.
I know I used to run mine down low, but knowing what a pain they can be to prime and what a fantastic bit of engineering the VP44 is, I never took it too far before filing up.

58 litres according to Parkers guide :y

TB must be enjoying his mum bus as he's upgraded the display and radio look...
-
not sure if that age is double or single din, but he's either got an excess on NCDR's or NCDC's!
Hope it's the former as the weight of a double din unit might be affecting his BHP.

The CDR500 was damaged in a decoding attempt, possible due to the iron problem I had :-[
I had a spare NCDR1100 knocking about ::). Shame the Zaffy GID mountings are different, and I've had to glue a GID into a hacked zaffy TID... ...only to find the glue "melts" when its on for too long. *sigh*

Single din. I have a couple of NCDCs, GIDs etc, but everything else was lost in the explosion :'(
