and that is why all pilots regularly practice "go around" procedures ..... it might not have been another aircraft ... more often it is a car/van/cyclist  .. anyone or anything that is in the "thumb in bum brain in neutral" mode of operating when near runways .. believe me it happens a lot more than you realise .. just doesn't get caught on film that much !!
