Getting round all the bits and bobs for mot. Need new shocks all round. What is a decent brand shock at decent money I can get? Also if possible where can I order them online as around here ive been finding it difficult to get shocks at non scary prices.
Thanks

Bilstein B4s are pretty good. I put them on the rear of mine, though still standard at front.
I think ECP can get them too :y

How much??

Put Bilstein on both mine, Saying that I've no idea if their B4 or not, £70 odd for x2 rear they where when I got a pair few months back...
-
Aaeye, B4. Will also take any lowering malarky up to 30mm, if relevant.

As cheap as you can find them.
Google shopping etc
-
Yep B4's
Eurocrapparts rarely have them or can get them so its the likes of balance motor sport, demon tweaks, LMF etc. looking for the best price.
-
Can recommend balance motorsport... Very helpful :y

B4's, they go well with standard setup and when lowered using Eibach springs.

Must give em a look. Price wise thats good. I thought they would have been alot more expensive. Its only slightly more expensive than the "budget" to just above budget ones id been pricing.
Next question, is the cao that holds the shock in the strut hard to get off? Only done it once befire and it was a major battle. Anything else I should reolace while struts etc are out?

Oh yes one last question, the shocks aint handed are they? Left hand right hand because when I was looking sorings this came up

Iirc, gm ones are handed due to the brake hose brackets on one side. But the b4's have the hose bracket symmetrical on both sides on each shock.
So gm are handed.
B4 are not.
....I think. Check obviously.
But does it matter as a customer? You want both sides obviously.
