Title: Oil in plug wells
Post by: bertie1.8vectra on 10 July 2014, 19:27:08
Hi guys, the miggy has been running rough lately so I thought I'd investigate and I found all 4 plug wells full of black oil.. Now I did and oil change on Monday and flushed the engine... The oil that came out was black and full of sludge so I reckon I'm the first in a long while to service her, I've checked the oil in the engine and it's still clean so I reckon it's built up over time and nobody's bothered to sort it till now... Any ideas as to what gaskets failed or failing???

An easy job to do as well :y

Just don't over tighten the cam cover bolts and only get a genuine gasket as well :y
