An aftermarket thermostat from eurocarparts which came in at £20.99p what Vauxhall choose to call a drain tube this came in at £9.77p with the "O"rings at 97p each and with v.a.t. a total of £13.36p so for a total price of £34.35p I don't think that's too bad.All I need now is some coolant and the spare time to do the job!!

The tube and "O" rings are from VX dealers thermostat price from same dealer was quoted at just short of £40!!!hence why I went aftermarket.

I fitted an after market thermostat when repairing the oil cooler seal and thermostat seal thinking, its only a thermostat.(ac delco) only lasted 6k before sticking shut and overheating and as you know, another dose of pita to change.

Genuine are more expensive even with trade card. taxi al had a usa ebay link for genuine with reasonable prices as long as you dont mind the postal wait.

Barely, the one on my car is still legible. And it was £17 delivered the next day.
