Mrs GK and I are looking to move somewhere a little less... Beirut. We have seen a place, currently empty, not advertised for let, that looks ideal. Chiefly, has at least four indoor parking spaces, which is our main issue.
I can't see a building number on it, and its part of a terrace where everything is joined, rejoined, separated, etc, so initial checks of the Land Registry have been inconclusive.
Before I start looking like I'm burgling the place, in an attempt to find a number... Do estate agents have any way of searching that isn't available to Joe Public? We reckon if we can find the owner, a cheeky offer might get us somewhere, and if not, or it turns out to be unfit for human habitation, its no great shakes...

have you asked the next door neighbours to the property if they know who owns it

Estate agents search the Land Registry and get the same info as you, £3per search. :y

I can't see a building number on it .......
Any chance of hanging about and asking the postman. :-\

Well that narrows it down a bit as that post code covers both extremes........ ;)
The Council may have some information, iirc there should be an empty homes officer who may be aware of it or the owner may be a registered landlord, just a thought.......... :y
