Title: left hanging...
Post by: tunnie on 18 July 2014, 22:45:34
..a garage up the road has just left a car on a lift. It must be 10 feet in the air, front suspension in bits. Fair enough get delayed. But they left the bonnet wide open and shut up shop for the night. But their lift is in the open air.

With some serious storms due tonight! The engine bay will get soaked

What should I do? I have the reg.  :-\

So if your car developed electrical faults, with large garage bills. If you were informed your MV6 was left outside with bonnet up, at a place you thought you could trust, would you be pleased you were told how it happened?

Why would you have the lift outside? They would only be able to use it on dry days, H+S and all that ;D ;D

On an omega that would not do the coil packs any good at all.

Is there an engine in it Tunnie? I've seen dealers leave the bonnet open with heads off, everything soaked. Rust on the liners etc ::)

Judging by the sound of it I wouldn't use these cowboys in the first place.

I'd get that reprobate Mark DTM to fix it. ;)
