Not been on for a few days as unfortunately my Mother had a massive stroke on Thursday afternoon, and is currently in hospital. Prognosis not good, particularly as she is 92. Such a sad situation.

When Maureen had her stroke back in April the hospital told us we may want to prepare for the worst.Happily she is at home now and her recovery is coming along at quite a pace considering the severity of the stroke.I know there is some 20 odd years difference in their ages, but don't give up hope quite yet.If she is a determined lady she may well yet get through this.

Thanx for the messages guys.
Saw her today, and she is now moving her right arm and hand, as well as her right eye. Yesterday she was totally paralysed down her right side. Cannot yet talk, although she is trying. Only time will tell

Similar to my mother. She made about a 70% recovery over the next two years, although she can't be left on her own any longer. Her memory is still poor and I have control of her finances.
All the best, Mr dbug. :y
