Title: any MK2 consul/zephyr/zodiac owners?

Anybody out there with a MK2? I need major help--got a set of window channels that need fitting--Tried-knackered one already and had enough >:( tried owners forum -but need an answer this year-- So can anyone help---or its gonna end up gone :'( Mrs  wants car done or scrapped --its that simple to her

no don't let it go to the scrappy they are getting thin on the ground I have been looking at a mk3 to restore and a very early mk5 Cortina as well will see what I can do tomorrow for you but wont be able to reply till I get home :y

had a look at the mk3 zodiac today and the window channels  are bolted in, is it the complete channel you are replacing or just the strips that fit inside the channels? :y

the whole channel---got a kit--its flexi metal with rubber coating and felt inside for window to slide in---the originals rotted to zilch mate :-\  and people on here moan about rust on miggys--try a mk2 --if ya brave enough  :D

I will try and get hold of an accomplice of mine and see if he has any ideas of how it comes apart and goes together just a pity you were not a bit closer will get back to you asap I'll try and get some pics as well if possible know a few people who restore classics :y
