hi there
I'm a newbie to this so please bear with me.
I've bitten the bullet and bout a 2001 omega elite, the 2.6, and have not even had the chance to enjoy it yet due to having a few problems with it the minute cash changed hands. The joys of buying from an auction. Here goes,
I got up this morning to hear what sounded like a fan constantly running so chose to leave the car at home not wanting it to break down. When I got back the battery was completely dead. Upon investigating I found that removing fuse 27 killed the noise. I believe this is to do with the self levelling. Any ideas why this is running constantly? I tried finding a relay for it but had no joy as I cannot locate a diagram with a layout of the in cabin relays. Also I didn't get any pass code or wallet with the car so I haven't got the code for the radio. It's a CCR-2006. Is there a cheap way of getting the code? Failing this can I use an aftermarket system with the Bose system? I have read differences of opinion, some saying yes others saying no. Sorry this is a bit long winded, any help will be greatly appreciated

Get a replacement carpass from Vauxhall, (which will have the code on it) for about £25 IIRC. You will need the code every time the battery is disconnected.
Someone will be along shortly to advise on self levelling.......

Only if you haven`t "disabled" it :)

F27 could be a number of things. Was the noise coming from in front of OSF wheel, or in the cabin, or from the rads?
For radio, ring around a few dealers for carpass. To replace, you need to replace radio, amp and speakers all at the same time.

How local are you to me here at Southend ? PM sent :y

The noise was coming from the OSF wheel under the bonnet

If struggling with the code, I can do this for you, but the radio needs to be sent to me
