Proposed dates: Saturday November 1st through to Tuesday November 5th, staying at St Pierre Park hotel on the edge of St Peter Port. The cost is £189 per person for foot passengers, and £199 per person for two people with a car. Three nights cost the same as two, hence the three day suggestion, and include a free room upgrade, B+B for three nights and dinner and a bottle of wine one night.
Ferry options are fast from Poole/Weymouth, or slow from Portsmouth, given the time of year, the fast boats won't be comfortable. The return is overnight to Portsmouth iirc.

The flights link is busted, but the breakdown is as follows, per person:
Flights £71
Taxes £47
Hotel £137
The hotel was on the same B+B basis with free room upgrade and dinner and wine on one night. The flights were mid morning out, 10:40, and lunchtime return, 12:55, and to/from Southampton...
Ferry details are 07:00 from Portsmouth, arr 16:00, and return to Portsmouth 22:30 4/11, arr 06:30 5/11.
Alternative outbound is either morning from Poole or lunchtime/early afternoon from Weymouth, both fast cats. Return is Ferry or swim ::)
