Is yours in bits  :-\

Nope.   :y

But I often think that browsing this forum is bad for me. I see so many posts about wishbones, crank shaft sensors, autoboxes and heaven knows what else that I drive along constantly waiting for something to happen. But it rarely does  :y

I am a big believer in preventive maintenance, if possible I will get something done before it breaks, but this is not easy. I don't do my own work, I use a garage all the time. And posting here and/or asking the garage inevitably gets the response " why spend money fixing something that isn't broken?". My answer is that I don't want to break down at night in the rain on a German Autobahn, and no I will not keep a spare crank sensor (or whatever) in the back to fix it myself at the roadside  >:(

I've already decided, any big breakdown or failure, the MV6 goes . . . .  :'(

Sadly my old one is going to be scrapped I think, body is mint and 80 k miles covered but seems like oil cooler is gone and lady doesnt want to spend any more on it(had complete exhaust system a month or so ago),she has already bought another car so I think it could be curtains for the old girl :'(

Well it either fell off or decided not to work ie electrics  >:(

Anyway the twin mount tow bar plate is on together with all the wiring fed through into the car , not quite ticked off the sheet of things to do but getting there slowly  ::)
One thing owning an Omega , it keeps you busy and gets you familiar with the workings of it  ;D
