An MV6 in the UK is the 'sportier' model with is slightly stiffened suspension - might be lowered too .... can't remember, but compared to an Elite, they have less toys as standard. Same engine, same bhp and same performance as any other 3.0 Omega - like for like gearbox etc

Carbon trim in mine :y

FL MV6 is lowered by 15mm . LSC lowered sports chassis . handles much better with a slightly firmer ride .
If you search out josh Wyatts write up "General Guide to Facelift Omegas" which is in the Common issues & FAQ section
under General Omega Info it explains all the model differences

I've noticed the Elite model is listed as having 'indirect night lighting'?? ???
What is this?
Carl,
-
It's an amber led in the base of the rear view mirror that provides a very low level 'comfort style' glow in the front cabin. Not quite the same as the ambient setting in a Rolls Royce!
-
I don't have this on my 2001 Elite.. :-\ lol
But I will fit some white LED's for ambient lighting..
Carl,
-
thanx for he replys :y
john, youve seen mine plenty of times. the owd 2.5 giving up the ghost then?. ::)
-
My '99 Elite doesn't have 'ambient lighting' either :(

currently got an 02 and 03 Elites sitting here, not fitted, never heard of it on Omegas. ???
Mate has it in His 2012 Astra Van, orange light in the roof that shines down on the Auto Box, if thats what were talking about. :-\
-
Indirect night lighting was standard on all '52' plate and later Omega Elite's.
It is at the bottom of the rear view mirror, and lights up the centre console area.
