Title: Euro car cover
Post by: Lagondanet on 19 August 2014, 09:54:18
Driving to Luxembourg next week for a few days.
I have full AA membership in UK.
I have been recovered from Bavaria before by AA via Ontime.

Who would you recommend for Euro cover for my trip then?

For short trips, I use http://www.vehicle-rescue.com/ - though check max car age.

Never actually had to use them though. The only time I've used euro breakdown cover is a company called Euroassist who I could not fault, except my battery was flat when the car arrived home a week or so later.

just a little update
been shopping around and the best cover ive found is through the coop for 27 for 10 days
you have to be very carefull as some policys only recover the car depending on the value so if the cars worth  a few hundred pounds you might o :ynly get recoverd a 100 miles or so,dont know who decides the value.
also if you are clever/sneaky you could get the cover for free if you don't use it,by taking it out the day before you go then when you come back cancel it under the 14 day cooling off period! ;D

Most I've come across have a specific clause to prevent that
