				Hi ya,

Simple question i know but as i have replaced the o rings twice relatively recently i'm wondering if its my refitting technique  :-[

Do you secure the breather bridge to the plenum and then fit the TB and do that up? or vice versa?

 :)
-
I never touch the throttle body if I'm pulling the breather bridge off...

That said the short bridge might not allow you to lift it out without :-\
-
Yes, with the short plenum you need to fit the bridge then slide the throttle body onto the front of the extensions on the bridge that connect up the pre-throttle breather ports.

It's probably better to do that on the long plenum, too, but you might just have enough slack to get away without removing the TB.

Thats the thing. i usually take it apart so i have the plenum, TB and breather bridge all seperate. That way i can clean the back of the TB and also that round thing at bottom of breather bridge.

ill try fitting breather bridge and then putting TB on. i can lubricate o rings with a drop of oil?
-
Oil, silicone grease, washing up liquid, spit..  :y

 Thanks mate :)

Reckon i can also put a bit of RTV to help secure new o rings as i cant be arsed to do it all again

 ;D ;D ;D

i thought of silicone grease but then i thought... inlet manifold...silicone.... exhaust and silicone dont mix. but then i suppose its only a smear  :y

I've always gone in dry myself .. but then there's usually a liberal dose of oil still smeared around the opening anyway  :-[ ;D

-
				Likewise :y

Mine is always lubed up plenty before insertion :)

So back to reinstalling the breather bridge  ::)

Can i use RTV also to plug the hole? :)

I wouldn't, TBH. You risk bunging up the hole completely, with the consequential cam cover gasket failure and you'll give yourself a headache next time it has to come off. If it doesn't look like it'll seal, get some new O rings. :y
