Car is due a service imminently, (700 miles time)...
I'm considering signing up for a plan and currently seem to be doing 40k a year. Services are every 16k ish. If I sign up for 2 or 3 services over 24 months, am I limited to one service every calendar year? Or can I use all 2/3 services as they become due. Obviously in this case I would have to pay the plan in full before starting a new one...
Anyone here any experience of this? AndyB springs to mind... ::)
Car still has a warranty on it from when I bought it, so diy is out... thinking get Mercedes to service it to preserve value whist dealing with any other issues on a diy basis :-\

Would you be taking the car to an independent Mercedes dealer?
The 'indie' that changed the faulty airbag on my CLS charged £50 P/H plus VAT.
From memory, Boston Mercedes was asking an eye-watering £115 P/H....... :-X

Though Merc has done a couple of jobs on the Smart, for the reasons/prices that Dr Opti has quoted my Merc isn't on any of their service plans. ........... too poor for that. ::)
though having said that, I've just paid a MB 'indie' for 4 hours labour that MB quote 1.4 hours to do :-X While I appreciate that fault finding has to be paid for, I told them I wasn't happy about paying them 2.5 hours to decide the fuel pump was dead. They weren't happy being told that it might very well have been cheaper for me to have taken it to MB in the first place.

How much did they sting you for in the end, Andy?
Was it more than the £10 that I said?..... ::) ::) ::) :)

The service plan, near as I can tell, is simply a monthly payment for X number of services :-\
Averages out at about £440 per service and includes things like atf and filter/brake fluid etc when due, next service has been quoted at £395 for a B service...
Wear and tear stuff can be sorted easily enough diy without impacting any warranty/residual value and anything else I can get dealt with locally

As long as the car is serviced to the Reich's specification, as shown in das book, use an independent, and the warranty is still valid commonly known as block exemption :)
