It never missed a beat. It must be about a mile there and back. Handled it effortlessly. ;D

What you mean you didn't have to get the suspension realigned on the way home??? :o ::) ;D

To be fair to Steve I don't think that Daewoo, and it's upmarket sibling Dacia, are actually bad cars. :y :y
I aspire to a Dacia Sandero. :-* :-* :-* :-*
Who wouldn't?...... :)

I believe the duster is the Dacia of choice.

I was, er, just looking at Dacias .. :-[

From a purely economic point of view, they are unbeatable. And for anyone that drives a 12 year old vauxhall to try a bit of badge snobbery.......well.... ;D

As long as that was all you were doing, Aaron. ;D ;D

I would have thought they'd suit you down to the ground.......cheap. :P

I was pleasantly surprised by uncle's Duster, although I think the base model makes more sense. And the Renault underpinnings drastically reduce my interest.

Think of them as Nissan underpinnings? ;D
Although the two Renaults I had (a 19 16v and 5 GT Turbo) were still two of the most reliable cars I ever owned.. :-[

And, as I keep saying, my wife's megane coupe, complete with all the electronic gizmos, has never given any trouble over 4 years and 35,000 miles.
Omegas, of course, are equally reliable.

What! You didn't breakdown, get a parking ticket or knock the suspension out of alignment on the 3rd world roads in Sleepfield. :o :o :o :o Obviously a red letter day. I look forward to seeing it as the lead item on the news tonight. ;D ;D ;D ;D
"Groomer drives all the way to Asda and back in Sleepfield without incident, I repeat without incident. Over to our Sleepfield reporter for a special live report....." ;D ;D ;D ;D
Paddy Power are offering 100-1 that you can't repeat the feat. I don't like those odds, at 500-1 it might of been worth risking a fiver. ;D ;D ;D ;D

French electronics no doubt just like in the peugeot's , say no more ::)

Oh....no doubt at all. Middle aged, British men who drive 'decent cars' think both are exactly the same. ;D
