How is that? The Darling Buds of May was set well before the Ford Corsair came out........

I know the bloke who owns the white Capri from The Professionals. It's rotten as a year old pear, but he loves it.

It may well have been on TV in the 90's but was set in the 50's so no Ford Corsair in that era. Hartbeat made some similar mistakes........... ;) ;)

Had a 1976/77 Granada Ghia 3 litre that had allegedly been used in an episode of the Sweeney, never seen the episode myself though. (OBL 819R)

Mate of mine owns the motorbike from heart beat, the stretch limo mini used in the spice girls movie :-\ and over the years has had one or two other "famous" cars.
His passion is the classics though, he has 4 at the moment,2 of which he hired out for use on Downton Abbey, where he himself appeared for a fleeting second as a chauffeur

Unfortunately not an Omega claim to fame, but back in the nineties I had two Chevrolet paramedic style ambulances and both had appeared in films. One was in Supergirl which was partly filmed at Pinewood studios and was used in the Midvale street scenes and the other one was used in Split Second with Rutger Haugh, and if you get to see this masterpiece of the silver screen....cough...now on Youtube..check out the struggle with the hyperdermic needle in the back of the ambulance, I was squashed up in the corner of the cab switching the blue lights on and off when told to do so.Good payer that...a grand for two night shoots 8) that was when I had money, and then I bought my first Omega, all downhill since then :'(
-
Split Second, what a cheesy but ridiculously enjoyable film.
-
Yupp, filmed at the old Hartley's jam factory in Bermondsey,no one told me that they had flooded the place for the filming...so no wellies on the first night, got sorted for the second ::) Also forgot, that vehicle was also in the Life and Loves of a She Devil, supposed to have been in California, but Derbyshire...think it worked :-X

Owned a Granada 2.9 saloon previously owned by Showaddywaddy's Dave Bartram :)

Sorry mate but sure there was no white capri that the professionals used. There was an rs2000 that was white but the capri's where gold , sliver and what looks like a bronze colour. :-\

Terry McCann from Minder had a white Capri , maybe it's that your thinking of?

Re my old Granada , a colleague I worked with at the time told me that it had been used in one episode not as a police vehicle , but by a council official (corrupt as the odd one or two are) or member of parliament/mayor ..As I said I have not seen it , it was jupiter red metallic with a black vinyl roof , quite a nice car it was as well..
