Nah, use a rod sliding in a bit of tube between the front tyres. Use it on front and rear edges. No measuring needed; at least for parallel.
-
How much you want for the tyres ? Ill turn them around and wear the other edge ;D

Because you spend more time explaining to passers-by why you're lying on the ground, 2m in front of the car squinting at it. Some, er, equipment saves a lot of stupid questions.
-
Nah, you need to think aloud while your working. They can't get a word in edgeways then. Saves a fortune on unnecessary equipment too. ;)
-
4 tent pegs and some string ;)

Buy a car where it doesn't matter if the geometry is out. One that wallows around corners and wanders on the straight. I can sell you one. :y

I'm thinking of asking the ice cream man if he wants to buy it. Few holes here and there, set of chimes, bobs your uncle. ;D
