Post by: 4x4 on 25 August 2014, 11:02:32
Without being shot down for writing this, ive put a pattern cam gasket on the frontera, this is the 1 ive fitted,http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140938343259?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT,it is a good fit and stayed in place when fitting,o rings fitted fine aswell,it was fitted as per maintenance guide and so far done 80 miles and no problems,i shall be updating this every month and what mileage ive done,if it holds it could be an alternative for the 2.0/2.2 owners :)

80 miles, a few days isn't enough time to tell. Report back in 2000 miles or 3 months :y

I think there are better pattern ones for the 4 pots, though there are still shite ones available.  The v6 ones seem to have less choice, and nobody has yet found a decent one that can consistently last more than a few months.
