It would seem that the cat has brought Miss Vamps a present, a mouse, direct to her bedroom......... :-X :-X  In an attempt by her to find said mouse, an impossible task, she pulled out some cuddly toys from under her bed, and 2 big spiders........ :D :D

So she comes looking for me, apparently there are 70 spiders in her bedroom and she is not sleeping in the room till I have got rid, up with the Vac, spiders removed, and 1 lecture later about the state of her bedroom and off to bed she goes, kids!............. ::) ::) ::)

But happy to have the mouse still in there ?? :o :o

I had to Google it.. ;D

And apparently field mice don't normally carry Weil's disease - something I also found out via Google:

Although mice cannot carry and transmit Weil's disease, they do carry another form of leptospirosis, which, although not fatal, can cause mild illness.

I had the opposite the other day.
I sat in the armchair, and a huge spider went scuttling across the floor. The cat instantly transformed from a shapeless furry lump 'asleep ' on the chest of drawers into the Black Flash and dived onto the thing.
A few seconds of crunchy chomping and a delicate spitting out of a leg, and he jumped up and transformed back into a lump again.
