Need an oil cooler as one X25XE engined Omega is leaking coolant, have removed the old one and naturally threads stripped on both ends of cooler  >:( Also, the lid was quite badly corroded so even if I'd manage to reuse the cooler would suspect a short life.

GM dealer says that these are no longer available. They are, I know, but where to look? Ebay ones, eg this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Vauxhall-Vectra-Signum-2-5-2-6-3-2-V6-Oil-Cooler-Radiator-93176626-/281381249969?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4183a123b1 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Vauxhall-Vectra-Signum-2-5-2-6-3-2-V6-Oil-Cooler-Radiator-93176626-/281381249969?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4183a123b1) any good?

Dowtys and oil pipe seals are available with reasonable price from the marbel-desk...

Thanks! They're all the same throughout the range... You have PM.

Don't forget you will need the sealant too and leave empty till next morning for it to harden before putting coolant in.  :y

Thanks  :y I have read the how-to several times and also done it twice so I hope I will manage  :y Although the grey goo has been on the shelf for a good year, hope it is still usable  :-\

I can confirm that the grey goo, once opened, will not be usable after year or two... Off to the marbel-counter... Last time I did one only some half of the tube was used, thought it would be good to save the rest for the next cooler but it did not stay usable.
