Title: Faster than a ferari..

I remember learning to drive in one of these... They were hite of a shovel! Exellent car in my opinion... but then I may be biased and blinkered as I was just 17.

Mate of mine had a natasp MG 2.0 one. Was damned quick for its' time, cheap, unrefined but fun.

We came across a MG Turbo one day at the lights in the p1$$ing rain and left it spinning its' wheels in the rear view mirror. I guess they didn't have traction control then? ;D

I didn't like the idea of them blowing through an SU carb rather than having FI, TBH, but I guess it worked in a crude sort of way.

the turbo version was a properly quick car. Just a shame about the image.

I know.... but it was the 80's! I would have loved a quattro.... but.... still wanting one now  ::)
