Got new power sounder to fit, last omega went up in smoke down country lane, so no mucking about with this one, when it dry's up of course.

Date on new one says12/11/10 thats just under 4 years should be alright, what do u lot think.

I would be thinking once bitten, twice shy, theres obviously a design issue with them, so new, old, good internal batteries or whatever, they wont be in my own cars.

I had one that got nicked earlier this year, and it didn't even have a frecking ECU in it, let alone a Power Sounder

Put new sounder in, old one must have been replaced as date is 2004 car is 2002 anyway cracked open and all is good no leaking so anyone on hear want it your welcome to it. :y

Has anyone that removed the PS and not replaced told their insurers? What did they say?

removed mine from the elite, and the v6 fronty   :y,  not worth the risk  the only place it needs fitting is in the black thing with 2 wheels
