Don't underestimate wet grass, on a good grass hill even M+S tyres may not help, can be worse than ice....... ::) ::). I remember some years ago in my Matra Rancho having a problem when camping on a green field, even with M+S front tyres it took me by surprise...... ::) ::) ;)

All tyres are black and round,cant really see what all the fuss is about with these tyre threads ;D

You mean the ones on the wings don't you, they were actually work lights, you could control their direction by hand............ :y :y
A car well ahead of it's time when you think of what is available today, Simca mechanics meant reliable but basic mechanicals, we won't talk about rust...... :D :D

I think that Land Rover must have nicked the design for the first Disco! ::) They even included the bio-degradabilty feature! ;D
