Hello
Looking for assembly kit for rear brake pads, ventilated ATE (as usually with V6). Everybody offers me kit with too short pins and too narrow "cross-plates" or whatever these plate parts are called. I was asked to check the original spare part number for those parts or for the whole kit.
Does anyone of you have these original numbers available?

Have you looked on here? very useful for part numbers...

GM never listed these as kits
The retaing pin is 9195055 (Opel Kat No 5 42 801)
Cross Springs are 9195056 (Opel Kat No 5 42 913)

Thanks both of you, I try to find right parts now.

Worth noting that the non vented retaining spring should never be fitted to vented calipers as it can potentially lock the pads in the retracted postion, thereby rendering the rear brakes inoperative :o

Ah just re-read your post. GM done aftermarket pad kits for the solid discs which came with a fitting kit but they never done a kit for the vented type.
What you can do is buy the solid aftermarket kit and then buy the vented pins and springs as the pads are the same

Rear pads are available from about £12 with Vat :y (Genuine are £35+ Vat apparently, but the person I spoke to seemed to think that 3.2s had different pads to the rest of the Senator/Omega A/B family :-\)
