Am I correct in thinking that the halogen headlamps fitted to a 1998 pre-facelift can be fitted to a face lift model 2000 onwards and the only difference is where they meet the front grille...the early one is rounded on the corner as the later one is pointed on the corner....apart from that are they the same..cheers. :y

I believe they are basically the same, you could possibly just change the lenses to remove/replace the gap....

No worries.
I reckon, if you replaced both headlights from FL to MFL, it would take an Omega Guru to notice. It certainly doesn't look out of place.
The lenses are quite different in terms of their markings, so replacing a single light would be 'odd'.
