My car has the 7 spoke alloy wheels and they are pretty crap (scuffs etc) which I want to replace, I'm unsure as to what alloys I should get?? The elite alloys are sick but never really cheap...
I'm sorry to offend anyone if I do... But shouldn't Saab alloys fit??! I had a 2001 9-3 previously and the 3 spoke classic style are really nice!
-
Yes the SAAB ones do I believe, I've definitely seen an Omega running on them, however, the offset won't be correct as they are for a FWD application.
-
Ohhh I forgot most cars are FWD :-\
-
May be able to use spacers? Not sure, someone on here will know.
-
Not a fan of spacers, but would absolutely, completely advise against wobble bolts, thus whatever you pick should have a PCD of 110.
There isn't a great deal of clearance on the front strut, so you can't deviate too much on width and ET

I made a chart for Catera owners but you might find it helpful.
http://cateraowners.forumotion.com/t66-catera-wheels
Aside from the American cars it includes Vaux/Opel and Saab with offsets and hub diameters.
PS: Opel Speedster wheels - 5x110 bolt pattern, 65.1 hub dia. offset N/A

I might try find some of the 5 spoke 16's then soft star I think they get called
-
Nothing to do with me, but currently there's a pretty mint set of Alloys (same as you have) with four days to run and at £150 on evilbay.
-
Is it pricey to refurb alloys?? I'd keep mine if they just looked nicer after my respray I really don't want to spend a whopping amount.

First set I had refurbished cost £160 the most current set was £200 (different companies). Don't think either refurbished ones have the durability of the original finishes though.

Check out mighty car mods on YouTube for home respray. They come out real good actually.

UPDATE: Speedster/Sky wheels have a 35mm offset.

I found a site that sorts cars by bolt pattern. It turned up some interesting info. You'll have to check the model years, offset, hub diameter, wheel width & diammeter, but its a good lead. To find the additional info go to the site and click on the cars.

How could I get them to fit/if they will? Regarding offset??
Cheers folks, wheels aren't my strong point :(
-
Using an 11mm spacer, which is less than ideal...
Also, you need to consider tyre size, as those wheels might be too narrow for 225/55/16s that the Omega should have :-\
There are nicer SAAB wheels :-\
-
I had them on my 9-3 turbo and have a soft spot for them, maybe I should just settle for the ones I have >:(
-
Each to their own ::) certainly don't let my opinion sway you :y
Personally quite like theses, but even they need spacers and different tyres ::)
-
I have some pretty new 225/55/16's with spacers surely I'd need a longer thread for the nuts?
My idea was powder coat black and slam the car right down :-/

I paid £130 for mine refubing and powder coating, LSN coatings in Castleford, about an hour away from Hull. I`m impressed with the finish :y
