Post by: TheBoy on 19 November 2014, 11:03:52
For the battlebus.

GM, Beru, NgK, ought else?

Betamax man has struck again, mine takes the most expensive of the 2 fitted to that engine it seems, grrrr

A glow plug for my sister-in-laws 1900 Astra H (or J  ??? ... not the very latest model) was about £15 from Vauxhall & a piece of cake to fit.

Yeah, my TD was £40 for all 6, so £15 - £20 each was a shock!

www.sparkplugs.co.uk have always been quick to deliver for me - unless they fall under your "everything online is shite" rule ;)

Although it looks like it's still £15 for Beru glow plugs, assuming I'm looking at the right Zaffy engine, so there's no price advantage anyway.

I'll save him the bother of fixing that. ;)

I wasn't sure if it was specifically ebay since the same seems to extend to ECP etc ;D

I thought they were about 10-11 pounds each on car parts 4 less last time I looked

Trouble with Car Parts 4 Less is that they never have what you order in stock, they wait 3 days then say they can't get them but can offer you a quality alternative - ie. the cheap shat you were trying to avoid in the first place!

I know they are a rebadged ECP or something but imho they've been a waste of space every time I've tried to buy from them.

The later DTi engine uses cheaper plugs, buy some margin.

GM were cheapest, around the £15 mark, and will be delivered here on Friday :y
