Be fair, in one picture it's upside down so must be pretty rare.
-
I have asked him what is rare about it. Will post up any answer
needs cambelt in 8k miles but at £600 might be a bargain.
-
You'd probably want to get a decent exhaust on it as well, appears to have something stainless on which hopefully is just the tip but if its a full exhaust they will probably have cut the flanges off the cats and welded it straight on and if that's the case it will probably be a single pipe in the middle that will make it as flat as a fart when pressing the loud pedal. :-\
The wording of the advert also makes me suspicious that all is not as wonderful as it quite seems.

Star Silver is ultra rare. :)

Might be the light but it doesn't look like Star Silver to me.

On second thoughts you may be right.

The wheels alone must be worth £600...
...off ;D
-
If RobG gets any where near it......it will be very very rare! ;D
-
Its rare because it has private plate on the front and original on the rear....very interesting if your name is mr plod.. :y

Plate does sfa for the value as the seller is keeping it, as per the ad ::)
Actually if anything it makes it worth less as the new buyer can't tax it until it's reregistered ;D
-
600 pound? I'll stick to my £300 omega, ;D
-
Discs look a bit rusty....hate the wheels £250 ha ha :y
-
This speaks volumes to me;
"THIS CAR IS RUNNING FINE AT THE TIME AS LISTING, TRADE ONLY SALE..."
That said, if it is a clean as is suggested, inside and out, it's about on the money, perhaps I could px our 2003 mig, in slightly worse shape bodywise; not me, swmbo....... ;) :D :D

Looks like oyster to me :y

Its rare to see an unvandalised car in Crewe ;)
-
Sellers answer
it has wheels that cost nearly £1,000, cream leather, is the rare v6 model etc etc
-
I would like to think that if i were to spend a grand on wheels, that they would at least look good :-\
-
And we get one pic of a single wheel, and then two of the bonnet, at fractionally different angles. :-\
Hate sellers with awful pictures. I'd agree with the above... the one pic of the wheels is one too many :)
-
Funny thing wheels. I personally would be unlikely to ever have non factory fitted wheels. Just a personal choice thing.
As for the advertisement, the guy hasn't done himself any favours with his words and definitely not with the pictures. If the car was indeed rare e.g. cream leather then the words and photos should have shown that. No under bonnet shot. Definitely odd having non matching front and rear number plates.
I asked him about service history and he didn't answer that. Might be might not be but he could have said.
It is a bit sad as it might well have been a good car but not for me
-
Wow what a rarity :o What is an Omega :o :o never heard of it---looks good- might have to get one---someday ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

yes, perhaps it was a special Vauxhall development in zero gravity driving.
It may, perhaps, have been a special option that was stopped as no one ordered their new Mig with it after this one................. ::)
Don't mind the wheels at all. Bet the ET is more than 39 though......
Oh no, just checked, the Fox FX004 is 38ET on a 17 rim
But 'over a £1,000' - - no chance - brand new set of 4 £369 plus postage after a quick scout round......

Well, if you paid the £600 or even up to twice that, imo, if belts been done, you can't really go wrong........... :y Belt due again soon though.............. ;) ;)
-
Car was a px at a Peugeot dealer.
Paid 700. 73k. Mot Sept with no advisories. Lots of bills and receipts. The exhaust just has a trim peice on.
Dealer was unsure about the cambelt but was sure it had been done. Found an invoice for 600 quid for a service cambelt kit and waterpump dated june 2014 so well happy. Lots of other invoices from the dealer who did it aswell.
Bar a few stone chips and a bit of a scuff by the front number plate its very very tidy and drives as it should.
-
Result.......... :y :y

Rare indeed, well done
-
Well done, for that money cheap comfortable motoring , if he had advertised it better could have made double as someone else said , good buy.
