Title: Further to compressor thread.
Post by: Terbs on 03 December 2014, 18:09:40
Well, after advice and discussion on here, I bit the bullet and have bought a compressor.....£197

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rhyas-50L-VTwin-14-5-CFM-118PSI-V-Twin-Air-Compressor-3HP-FREE-5-Piece-Kit-/371085975382?pt=UK_Air_Tools_and_Compressors&hash=item5666729f56

Came today on overnight delivery. I think its the mutts nuts !!!! :y

Just started it up and ran for a while, used the spraygun that came with it, no problems at all, held 70psi steady while I held the trigger open, motor cuts in and holds steady pressure. Did not drop below 70psi. After shutting the trigger on the gun, the pressure was back to 100psi in seconds.

There is plenty of air to do panels, and tonge in cheek, you would probably get a roof or bonnet out ok. Obviously, you would have to have a gun with a sensible cfm !!!!

Initially, well pleased.
