My mum once 'parked' a car should had just hired on top of three cars after racing forward, hitting a ramp, and taking off! ;D :y
To balance that though I personally know a man who lost control of his Volvo entering a filling station, wiped out THREE pumps, hit a ramp at the front of the kiosk / shop, flew through the windows and ended up embedied in its ceiling, with petrol shooting up from where the pumps where! Amazingly no fire, and he just waited for the police to do him for drunk driving >:( >:( for which he got 3 years. :y :y £800,000 later and the Garage re-opened. :y

You crack me up Debs, ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I think there will allways be a percencentage of poor parkers, I think most of them live on the same strret as me.
The woman 2 dorrs down, 3 cars in the family all parked on the road, the lady of the house, pulls in and just gets out of the car, no concern she take up 2 spaces.
Then you wonder why I have 2 cars, someone parks too close to me, I go out in the other car, if they are still too close to me, I park the same distance at the other end of thier car. Not as bad these days, they are learning to behave. :D

This is what happens when you let a woman drive a car without sat nav and parking sonsors. ;D ;D

I have them onthe front and back of my Citroen ::) ::) thought I was going to need the front ones, when I bought the car, but soon got used to it. :D

I had rear parking sensors on my Mondeo estate. If I had taken any notice of the silly noises, I would only ever have been able to park in a field.
Couldn't find any way of turning it off, either. :(
-
My swmbo is actually a good driver and probably a better parker than me ::) however an incident occurred 3 years ago that my daughter, 4 at the time, has never let her live down. ;D
Reversing the Mig Estate in a spacious caravan site she managed to reverse the car into the most huge Horse Chestnut Tree, standing alone, which she knew was there. :o
No damage to the car, it was a slow manoeuvre and only hit the tow bar. Her excuse was that she could not see it cos the dog was sitting up in the back of the car. ::)
It continues to, occasionally, be mentioned in our house, or to whoever might be interested............. ;D ;D ;D

Hi Debs
Have loved the pics of pups that you have posted in various threads, but I keep looking at the picture of the aircraft next to the pups below.
I have clicked on the image, and all it does is take me to an empty page. making an educated guess I am right in thinking it is yours, what is it, and where you you "park" it?
Cheers

It`s the "Flying Banana": my own (much-modified) glass and carbon-fibre 'LongEz' homebuilt, 'canard' (tail-first configuration) sport/air-racer.
It has a 26ft. wingspan, 2 seats and is powered by a 6 cylinder (Lycoming) bi-turbo 300 Hp. engine and does a good impression of a homesick angel! ;D
I spent 8 years in her construction (built and documented as part of my Ph.D research) and she currently has over 1500+ hours flying-time on her (incl. two Trans-Atlantic hops) :y
She`s presently stored in a hangar at a nearby airport.....sky-high (no pun intended) fuel/insurance and airport landing/hangarage fees have priced me out of the sport-flying hobby; I now can only afford the costs to fly her just enough each year to keep my pilot`s licence current. :'(

Fantastic, have you got any more pics you could post.
Debs you totally amaze me, is there no end to your talents.
Pity you could'nt have your own private landing strip on your land, then it could double up for the OOF'ers annual Drag Race Meeting, Would soon cover the "Flying Bannana's" running costs on entrance fee's and race costs.
