Title: Heater fan
Post by: BazaJT on 07 December 2014, 11:59:51
Although this about my Omega I'll post it here[admin please move if desired]Strange how I've only really just noticed this, but for about the first mile or so after first starting the car the heater fan blows faster-fast enough to be audible-and after that settles back down to a slower speed and basically becomes inaudible, but still working on the three bars showing on the display. Is this a feature of the heating system or do I have a heating fault?

Yep, if you have the climate set on auto, then in this cold weather the fan will be quite fast until the cabin starts to heat up, then it will reduce the fan speed as it doesn't need to provide so much heat  :y
