-
Can have a look - there's a omega at the scrappy - 37k miles on the clock (genuine) will get a price - what's the going rate for a full set of fuel pipes these days?
-
Dunno mate. But if you could find out I would be very grateful. :y
-
Are these the same throughout models? Had to remove for the sand blasting but wouldn't separate so had to cut em off ???

All petrol ones are the same, but saloon and estate rear sections are different. And 4pot/V6 front sections are different. Readily available new :y
Edited for clarity.

Ah this was a concern I had - how you'd remove complete.... will see howI get on, but suspect they're going to be a pain.
Looking like won't be able to get in until after Xmas now (basically only can get in at weekends, I'm busy shopping/wrapping saturday now, I foudn out the other day ::)
Can they wait until... next year? :)
-
Called the stealer. Can get some of the pipes but not all but there about 60-90 quid each!!!! That's a dear set of pipes :-X
-
:o Gulp!
Hmmm.... I'd be hanging on until I can get in the scrappy mate. :)
-
Even wanting 250+vat for a clutch kit. Think they see me as a walking wallet
-
Clutch kits can be got anywhere, buypartsby are good for those.
The fuel hose is easy to get, I use this company:
http://www.ssldieselparts.co.uk/fuel-pipe-plastic-nylon-tubing-p-330.html
It means using short length of rubber with stainless fuel line clips for joints but its good stuff
-
So you don't have to use the hard plastic lines. Good stuff :y
-
The black plastic fuel pipe is available from hydraulic suppliers(it's airline on trucks); expect to pay about £20 for 30metres. It is possible to form permanent curves in it using a heat gun, and 30m is more than enough to practice with. Get the joining hose and clamps from the same place.
-
Have I got this right davieboy0312, it was an MoT adivsory that your fuel lines were 'corroded' - the metal bits which enter the engine bay? (everything else being plastic as just mentioned above)
-
No mate. I'm the nutter that's powder coated his engine etc and getting shell ready for same treatment next summer. But had to strip shell for blasting. Pipes wouldn't come apart so had to improvise with a big knife. Didn't think they would be so expensive or rare to find
-
Ahhh, I see!!! There's another guy on here that has some pipes, assumed you was he, posting in wanted. :y
Well, he's missed out, now I'm looking for some for you, now :y :y
-
V6 saloon mate all the way to the manifold if you can. Much appreciated :y
-

A little information is a dangerous thing...
You actually need #2 and #7 ;)
Type the part numbers into ebay.com... might get lucky at a dealer in the US :-\
-
Yea noticed this morning 3 and 8 was estate. Thanks al. Do I need the 2 at the rear?
-
4 and 8 or are they the ones on top of the tank?
-
You tell me ::) I can't see your old ones from here :P
-
4 and 8 or are they the ones on top of the tank?
#4 and #9, have a clip one end and a hose tother, connect the lines to the tank :y
-
Will get a 2 and a 9. Best be safe. Thanks al
-
Sorry 4 and 9 :-[
-
Guess you're worried about the filter clips?
These can be replaced with 3-4 inches of ISO7480 fuel hose and four stainless spring clips either side of the filter.
Can use either another filter or a suitable length of stainless tube to join the return pipes together as well, but does rather depend on where and how you cut the fuel lines :-\
-
Well couldn't unclip any of the pipes apart from ones at filter and at canister the rest got chopped and binned. So need all :-[
-
That would do it...
EBay.com the part numbers :y Might get lucky...
-
Bought them from gps. Not too bad all in for the 3 I was about 90 quid. Sore mistake :'(
