Entertaining.
Indeed, I thought Russel and Nige put their points over quite well....... :y

Brand is such a tosser! ::) He didn't answer one question.... >:(

I would like to know what retard classed russel brand as a comedian. Never seen or heard anything the idiot has done funny

I used to enjoy his Radio2 show, and listened right up until that episode, which as prerecorded should never have been broadcast... but I digress ::)
He kind of has a point politically, but his ideas are naive and unworkable. However much we dislike the system, the very fabric of our society IS the system and vice versa. Remove that, and I think you'll find something more akin to Planet of the Apes, and not the utopia that Russell envisages. ;)

Agreed - it reminds me of when quizzed about the whole 'let's bring it all down' waffle - and so get rid of the police... and replace it with, what? A group of volunteers (well, some of it can be dangerous, so only fair to pay them) who can maintain law and order... some you've have to have specialist pursuit drivers, as well as a minority of marksmen, riot-trained ones, as well as ones trained to deal with the public, elderly, rape victims, some to do paperwork, some to patrol the streets, some to drive around keep an eye on things, they could 'police' the country...um... but, well, we could call them 'police'.
His whole drone smacks of the Bolshevik Communist ideals - where they replaced a totalitarian, autocratic system where a few live in abject wealth, as others live in utter poverty... with another system of autocratic totalitarian government, where a few lived in abject wealth, as the rest lived in utter poverty... He's an educated man, in spite of what his appearance and mouth suggests, he knows this. We did it, we beheaded King Charles I, because of his 'one divine man controls all' policy who was there because of the rights of succession, and he thought he was God's representative of England... with Oliver Cromwell, who ruled as 'one divine man control all' and genuinely believed that God had bade him to do this, and therefore was Gods representative of England. But it was different, because he refused to be called 'King'. So totally different...he claimed.
Same policies, same ideas, same minority ruling the majority, different name. Always the same.
Same as the Scots bleating about 'we're sick of London ruling us' - well, yes, and in Lincolnshire we're 'sick' of 'that London' ruling us, they don't understand our weariness of wind farms, and price of sausages... but then again, doesn't it make sense to put all the policy-making in one building, so everyone can sit next to each other and talk face-to face, and the most logical place being the capital city?
Anyone can, if they so wish, put themselves up as a candidate for local government, and, with work, if people like them and vote for them, they can become Prime Minister.
Can't understand how Brand think we can all govern ourselves by our own moral compasses. Pricks get away with murder now, people crash cars, leave others in comas, and get away with it, while honest elderly people starve, how the hell does he think the pricks and the cheaters getting more opportunity and the weak but honest having less voice really going to improve anything?
Sorry, but this guy winds me up royally! As you may have guessed!!! :y :y :y
Merry Christmas ;D

I can't stand to watch anything he's involved in.. prize bell end that he is.
If anyone needs to be sent to Gitmo, it's him.

May I suggest that I take over the country.
How does 'Lord Protector' sound?......... ;D ;D ;D
The Queen will have to give up her wealth and move to a council estate in Reading.....if she want's to keep her head.

Ah yes, the reasoned approach to negotiations ;D

As a 'benign' and sane dictator I shall rule benevolently, along with my cat, Cromwell. :)

Ta very much... :y
Never understand how people like him manage to be so loved - I don't know one person who doesn't think he's an end. Is it just bisexual girls under 20yrs of age that like him? - won over by the thing that has been winning over the hearts and minds of girls since time immemorial. I am, of course, referring to moronic hair.

Hahah!!! ::) ::) ::)
Sadly my bi Girlfriend is 20... hence I very carefully stated under the age of 20, lest she suspend my privileges!

...the debate was on jeremy vine show today...
I only heard the beginning of the Question Time piece on Jeremy Vine today, but he was going on like it was the best QT ever and I think at one point he said that. :-\
I thought it was shite. David Dimbleby is a crap Chairman and didn't control the panel or the audience and as said earlier Russell Brand didn't answer any of the audience's questions, but just used the show as a platform to attack Nigel Farage often personally as much as for his politics. ::)
I guess that suited the BBC's left wing bias though, and the fact that he had very little meaningful to say would have passed right over the Guardianista's heads at Auntie Beeb! >:(
