Some years ago my youngest daughter gave birth to the eldest of my grandchildren, she and the boys father split up shortly after his birth.Fast forward 20yrs and the child is now grown and has produced my great grandson. All very straightforward so far. However today I've learned that next year my younger brother is going to marry the mother of the ex-boyfriend,so at a stroke not only will my brother be my grandsons uncle he'll also be his step grandfather and step great grandfather of my great grandson!!!Talk about confused? You will be!!

This is fine, it's when brothers and sisters marry that you need to worry*

In Lincolnshire it is against the law NOT to marry your sister. ;D
