Post by: omega3000 on 18 December 2014, 15:03:07

First speed bump and that would be £130 down the pan  :o.Fine on a flat race circuit but state of most roads and thats a costly style mod. :'(

Pity as its does look quite smart  :y

Never had you down as a chav :o

That's truly awful, and completely impractical. That would never make it out of a multistorey

Soooo many haters on here for being different...

It'll be fine, they don't catch on speedbumps anymore than a standard bumper does....

They don't extend downwards anymore than about the thickness of the GRP its made from so probably 3-4mm...

If it's a clone of the Irmscher one, it actually sits a couple of inches below the standard bumper, so if the car is lowered, expect it to break.

Irmscher parts are injection moulded, Polish fakes are rough moulded from Irmscher parts in thin grp and are consequently fragile...

The lip on it's own looks cack.

With a set of skirts and a rear bumper attachment (not a tow-bar) it would look good.

Styling is always in the eye of the beholder.  Fortunately, in this respect, we are all different :y

Mk 5 has larger rear light clusters, door mirrors in the corner of the window rather than bolted to the door skin, slightly different front indicators and wrap around bumpers. Inside the clock was moved.

Think the Mk5 was launched as the Cortina 80... :y

Well you did ask ;D

I believe officially there was no MK5 at all ,only a MK4 facelift :y
