as above, does anyone here know if the auto 1.9 cdti has a dpf ? i dont think the manual one has this but unsure of the auto

Depends on year but pretty certain facelift ones do... A colleague had a '55 facelift 150bhp auto and that had one...  No end of shit with it...

At least the slush box doesn't have a Dual Mass Flywheel ;D

If you're after one then buy either the 1.8 petrol or the 120 bhp diseasel :y

dont fancy the 120 version mate, only because my current 2.2 dti will have more guts than it and dont fancy petrol again

A chipped 120 will be more reliable than the 150 :y

1.8 is rev happy and bombproof from personal experience :y cheaper to buy than diesel ones too and fuel is cheaper so running costs are pretty much the same...
