New year and all that, getting floor tiles regrouted in bathroom n kitchgen as they aint been done in ages and they look messy.
Small bathroom and small to medium sized kitchen. any idea of what a good price is including consumables, labour and the removal of the old grout?

Thats not going to an easy job, removing grout will be a bitch without damaging the tiles,if using a dremel etc you can also risk slipping and damaging the tiles.il pop round 1 evening and have a look :y

Bonnie or steve should be along soon ::) ::) ::)

Sounds like the kind of job that will have tilers sucking air through their teeth and going "ooh, probably be cheaper to re-tile the lot, mate. I can do that, no problem.."
Bit like asking a bricky to re-point a house ;D

It's not a difficult job, you just need the patience of a saint.

Haha! Fair comments lads.
I laid the floor tiles in kitchen and bathroom. Did ok. But hated it.

webby, Invest in a multitool (screwfix had Bosch ones for 70 quid last week) & a grout raking blade.
Easy life & no tile damage. 2mm joints in ceramic wall tiles takes about 15mins a sq, metre to rake . May take a bit longer in wider jointed floor tiles . But still easy to do.
I've done a few showers & bathrooms now with my multitool ;) ;)
EDIT : sorry 79.99 for the Bosch at screwfix

It's the fact that your crawling round the floor that makes it difficult. I would invest in knee pads too.

I borrowed a mates when my shower tray failed. After replacing £40 of blades, I went back to an angle grinder, as the Bosch blades just wouldn't touch my grout, and just ate the blades.
I did catch one tile, so had to replace that :(
