Title: laptop

I let my 11yr old granddaughter loose on my laptop. its now when I google anything its slower than usual & on certain pages when I scroll down 3/4 of the page is full of a script ,e.g.
  [ blah blah / etc etc
  [ loads more of what appears to be rubbish
  [ goes on line after line

I have n,t a clue whats she,s done . tried the recovery mode to no avail. I cannot find anything amiss with the programmes installed.
if any body knows what has occurred pls explain it to me . I haven't a clue  :-\ :y

Try doing a restore from when it was known to be good in safe mode. if no good then follow this -

First Step download and do a scan with Malwarebytes in safe mode.

Next step download and do a scan with Spybot in safe mode.

Next step download and do a scan with AdwCleaner in safe mode.

Make sure you download the above from original Makers Sites.

look in Google Extensions and see whats there and shouldn't be there and remove items
