Title: 02 Punto. Speedo rises slowly

Mate's got the above problem.

He's had a look and it doesmt appear to have a speedo sensor in the gearbox. is thiswheel speed sensor related?

Does it have abs and does that work if fitted,I think speedo drive is taken from left front sensor which will be only one fitted if no abs

I dont know of many puntos where the speedo doesn't rise slowly.

Sorry for bumping but friends just got back to me.He's disconnected both front ABS sensors and is still getting a speedo reading with no change ??? ??? ???
Where on earth is it taking its reading from?

It's just being Italian and laid back. Tell him to accelerate more slowly, it will keep up then. ;D
