Title: Omega Elite 3.2
Post by: MICHAEL FINCH on 11 January 2015, 13:47:04
I have been quite taken aback at some of the derisory comments on here relating to my recent attempt to sell my car on Ebay, may I point out that no one was more surprised than me when the bidding started to head for £1900.even though it is a lovely example of 3.2 omega elite,The fact that Ebay is obviously riddled with idiots who are making ridiculous bids for which they have no intention whatsoever of honouring! is not mine nor any other genuine Ebay sellers fault. That is why there is currently a non paying bidder action in progress with Ebay. People who seem to take great pleasure in mooting conspiracy theories regarding false bidding etc should be very careful about what they are saying.without being aware of the full facts. Because of (hifx(25) someone by the name of Navjit Singh from Slough, I now have the inconvenience of having to relist the car or try to sell it by some other medium.

why don't you just relist it on ebay
maybe the buyer has a genuine reason not to purchase
sometimes people bid and then circumstances change
no need to cry like a big old baby just relist it
its not the end of the world  ;D

No mention of that in your post to try & sell it here though as far as  I recall when reading it yesterday  :-\ :-\

Get involved in the topics on here & you will soon be able to offer it  for sale.

If it is a nice one ,  which it looks like it is, and the price is reasonable,  an oof member will quite likely snap it up.

It would then be going to a good home & will almost certainly be looked after & cherished . ;)

Can be a pain ebay, but sure you can find a genuine buyer if you try again. Good forum here too, so if you did want to get posting and can wait you may well find a buyer that way.

Welcome to OOF  :y

Put it on Autotrader, a far better place to sell cars in my opinion.

Surely the comment (cry like a big old baby ) isnt fair is it ????....I am not getting involved with the selling rights or wrongs of his car.....But if you have sold a car on ebay then there are fees to pay....If the buyer dosent turn up and you loose the sale and then inform ebay of a non payer, dont you still have to pay the fees or not....because if you still have to pay ebay the fees then those people who bid and win and dont turn up are a complete waste of space and could cost the seller money with the selling fees or at least the extra fee to relist the item.....just because they are a waste of space and dont care a damn ....Not fair at all,but then thats the peril of ebay,,
